CAROUSEL BAR
Cocktail Server – PT) (Flex)
Summary – Serve beverages (both Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic) to guests seated at tables and bars. Compute bill and accept payment. Takes orders for and serve light meals and request identification from customers when legal age is in question.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one (1) year Server experience in a high volume restaurant and/or bar required. Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.

CRIOLLO KITCHEN
Line Cook – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – To prepare food according to recipe and restaurant specifications in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least three (3) years cooking experience preferably in a culinary program required. Must have knife handling skills and own culinary knives.

Pantry Cook – (PM) (FT)
Summary – Pantry cooks are responsible for the cold appetizers and dishes that come off a restaurant line. Before service begins, pantry cooks prepare any elements needed for service, such as salad dressing, sauces, vegetables, or dessert ingredients. Pantry cooks wait for tickets to come in and then plate the food the diner has ordered. They must work in conjunction with the other line cooks so that all of a table’s food comes out at one time and must be able to handle several orders at a time.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least two (2) related experience. Must have knife handling skills and own culinary knives.

CRIOLLO RESTAURANT
Server – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – the Server is a food and beverage server. As such, he or she must be familiar with all the dishes offered by Criollo. In addition, the Server must also be knowledgeable of wine and food pairings. Most importantly, the Server must have a positive attitude and maintain respect and leadership in stressful situations that may arise during busy occasions.

Requirements – A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must have at least two (2) years Server experience in an upscale restaurant. Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.

ENGINEERING
Shift Engineer – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – To maintain equipment and building fabric as directed to ensure

Requirements – Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; at least two (2) years experience in an upscale hotel required.

2nd Class Engineer – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – Operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as steam engines, air compressors, generators, motors, turbines, and steam boilers to provide utilities such as light, heat, or power for buildings by performing the following duties.

Requirements – Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two (2) years prior experience and/or training in engineering. Must possess certification from City of New Orleans.

FRONT OFFICE
Rooms Control Agent – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – The Rooms Controller reviews, tracks and accommodates the travel patterns of guests who regularly book reservations with our hotel. The Rooms Controller also coordinates the resources to provide the guest with a positive experience. He/she coordinates the handling of guest preferences with hotel associates, organizes room arrangements with housekeeping staff and follow-up with guests to gauge their overall satisfaction with the hotel experience.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one (1) year of customer service experience in hospitality required. At least one (1) year of front desk/front office experience required.

HOUSEKEEPING
Room Attendants – (AM) (FT)
Summary – The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and linens restocked, ensuring the Hotel Monteleone is maintained to the high presentation.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one (1) year of housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel or at least (2) years of general cleaning experience.

RESERVATIONS
Reservationists – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, telex, cable, fax, or through a central reservation system. Creates and maintains reservation records-usually by date of arrival and alphabetical listing prepares letters of confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one (1) year hospitality and reservation experience required.

STEWARDING
Steward - (FT) (Flex)
Summary – Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our associates. The individual must wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. In addition, the dishwasher must keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Requirements – High School diploma or general education degree (GED); prior experience as a Steward or dishwasher highly preferred.

TRANSPORTATION
Valet Hiker – Various
Summary – Responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests when they arrive and leave the hotel.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education (GED) and at least one (1) year of valet and/or driving experience.

Garage Cashier – (PM)(FT)
Summary – To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to successfully perform the following duties. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requirements – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least one (1) year Garage Cashier or Parking Attendant experience and one (1) year of direct customer service experience.

Garage Porter – (FT) (Flex)
Summary – Provides general maintenance duties in the upkeep and overall appearance of the garage.

Requirements – A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and at least one (1) year of related experience required.

BIENVILLE HOUSE

Summary – Responsible for providing parking and retrieving vehicles in a timely manner while displaying excellent customer service and communication skills to guests.

Requirements – High School diploma or general education (GED) and at least one (1) year of valet and/or driving experience.

Room Attendant – (FT) (AM)
Summary – The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public area are cleaned and linens restocked, ensuring the Bienville House is maintained to the high presentation.

Requirements – High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one (1) year of housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel or at least (2) years of general cleaning experience.
