The 2013 ESSENCE Music Festival in New Orleans presents four days of music and empowerment over July 4th weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
For the Festival’s 19th installment, music’s most respected artists take the stage, including Beyonce, Trey Songz, Keyshia Cole, Jill Scott, Solange Knowles, Maxwell, New Edition, LL Cool J, Brandy, and more.
Pastor Donnie McClurkin and Tramaine Hawkins will be honored with a Gospel tribute.
The ESSENCE Empowerment Experience presents daily seminars on healthy living, civil rights, education reform, career and work advice, relationships, beauty and style, and more. Reverend Al Sharpton, Dr. Steve Perry, and Rep. John Lewis are slated to speak at the ESSENCE Empowerment Experience.
